What many fans hope for the second season is to see more of Sinbad in action, hunting for the Djinn Equips. From the time he started sailing the seven seas, getting his first Djinn Equip weapon and unleashing it. This anime told the story of Sinbad’s original. Sinbad was one of the most mysterious characters in Magi for the simple reason that he had so many Djinn Equip weapons. It could be that Netflix saw that Magi: Adventures of Sinbad did not get enough views and popularity to give them confidence to fund another season. The video streaming companies do pay close attention to the number of viewers a show has and now they even have a top 10 list on the streaming service. Some would argue that one of the reasons why there is no season two was because, it was produced by Netflix. Perhaps it was not the spin off that people wanted to watch, however, it was a popular anime and people did enjoy it.
